Happy Friday, loves :) I've written two new money resources for you this week, but they won't be relevant to all of you right now, so rather than clog up your inbox with them I'm just going to send you the links to read them if you want to.

Super-awesome resource #1: a guide to getting out of debt

Hey, did you know that I was suffocating under a mountain of debt when I was in my mid-20s? In fact, it's the awful experience that inspired me to figure out how the heck money works in the first place. I've put together a list of everything I know about getting out of debt into a debt-busting action plan for you. I hope it helps 💪🏾

Super-awesome resource #2: a list of radtastic global funds in the UK

UK readers, I've been neglecting you! The South Africans had this list of radtastic investment and savings funds, but I was leaving you to find good low-fee passive funds all on your very own! I'm so sorry! You now have your own list right here. If you think I'm missing anything, please let me know.

Other things going on in Sam-Land:

• Current obsession: the art of Else Bostelmann who painted the deep ocean creatures William Beebe discovered in the 1930s (in this crazy spherical cast-iron submarine called the Bathysphere). She also once tied a canvas and oil palettes to lead weights and lowered them into the ocean, and did a painting UNDER THE WATER. Here's a good article about her.
• Magpies draft 2 is coming along! We're 35,000 words in and looking to have this draft done by March 2021.
• I've also been working on the climate change choose-your-own adventure game. I've roped in other fave writers to contribute little pieces towards it (fake news stories from the future) and so far it's been a blast. We're aiming to launch this early next year.
• Just started reading The Wych Elm by Tana French. Haven't decided whether I like it yet.
• I have been thoroughly obsessed with Phoebe Bridgers' album Punishers.
