- Property24 offers a wealth of property area trends reports, including what the average asking price is versus the final sale price in each area (essential info when you're deciding what offer to submit on a house you want to buy). They cost < R100 per report. Totally worth it.
- Lightstone Property offers great reports and insights on the area you're thinking of buying in, or the specific property, for a few hundred rand.
- Ooba's bond calculator is the simplest to use I've found. It will help you estimate how much you'll likely pay on your home loan.
- Ooba's transfer costs calculator will help you estimate bond registration and transfer costs.
- Betterbond gets you pre-approved by multiple home loan providers before you start your property hunt.
